Bladedancer 4.0

The spec - 61 Bladedancer - 15 Ranger - 0 Tact

Switch out Energy Manipulation for Planar Variation if you are doing aoe.

The Tact legendary (Empyrean Bolt) reduces the cooldown of your twin cleave (which refreshes your current dances) that allow for a 100% uptime on BaSP and Fated.

Legendary Abilities

Fated Blades

Hundred Blades

Twin Cleave

Call: Razorbeast

Empyrean Bolt

Buffs:

- Predatory Instincts

- Combat Preparation - Overwritten in raids by bards/oracles

- Defensive Pose, only to be toggled on when you're not near the fight or a disconnect is coming up

Combat Buffs (dances):

Fated Blades

Blade and Soul Parity

Call: Razorbeast (use as soon as off cd)

These *should* be the only two dances that you will be using during the fight (assuming you do the rotation correctly)

If for some reason your dances fall off, Dualism is the next highest ST dance, if you're doing AoE use Blade Tempo.

With the changes to Bladedancer, Precision Strike and Quick Strike can now be used after any damaging ability (rather than only after a keen/binary strike). With this, the rotation for ST should look something like this;

Macro

#show Binary Strike

suppressmacrofailures

cast Precision Strike

cast Binary Strike

Opener

Apply Dances -> Flash of Steel -> Finisher (to proc Deadly Dance) -> Call: Razorbeast -> Builder x3 -> Finisher

From this point your rotation would look something like;

- Precision Strike - Binary - Precision - Fin

With Twin Cleave, you want to use this when Fated/BaSP are at 1-2 seconds (depending on how comfortable you are, and taking into account latency/skill lag if you have any)

Once you've used Twin Cleave, you will want to use Empyrean Bolt twice (has a 6s cooldown, so keep that in mind and don't wait till the last second of your dances) ~ It doesn't matter when you use Empyrean Bolt as it wont consume a stack of Deadly Dance

With this rotation your dances will have a 100% uptime assuming you do the rotation correctly.

Dualism Rotation:

If your dances do happen to fall off, and you need to use Dualism, this will be your rotation;

Quick Strike - Binary Strike - Quick Strike - Double Strike

AoE Rotation:

With the Hundred Blades Legendary it no longer has a cooldown, but gives you a stacking debuff that increases the energy cost of Hundred Blades. You can now cast this 3 times consecutively before getting drained. For this rotation you will need to change your 65 mastery to Planar Variation. Your AoE rotation will look something like this:

Pre-cast both dances (BaSP and Fated) and Call: Razorbeast as you're about to start.

Hundred Blades x 3 - Twin Cleave (to refresh dances) - Empyrean Bolt - Dancing Steel -> Emp bolt - Planar Variation - Hundred Blades - Twin Cleave - Empyrean Bolt - Hundred Blades x2 - Dancing Steel - Empyrean Bolt

There is the possibility of having to clip your hundred blades/dancing steel a second early to refresh the dances, rotation is slightly clunky for that.

From this point on its waiting for your dancing steel to come off CD and Hundred Blades de-buff to drop, you can start pre-casting Hundred Blades at the last second of the de-buff as it wont tick for 1 gcd, so it wont add to the de-buff and making sure you refresh your dances.

The initial aoe rotation will last roughly 55 seconds.

Notes -

Hundred Blades and Dancing steel – the first tick of damage on these abilities happens a gcd after its cast, if you can time the mechanics that its needed for, it can be a dps increase.
