As explained before, the use of 61 Phys in pvp is worthless, anything past 58 is not required to have, but never go below 58, as you lose Intensive Care.

58 Phys is basically exactly the same as 61 phys, just without Life Insurance, as stated before - "This will be your ST pvp healing spec, the reason behind using 58 points and dropping life insurance is because, as it stands, Life Insurance is virtually useless in pvp, both with the way shields scale, and due to the fact that Life Insurance can't be procced by other damage procs, and pvp has about a bajilion procs, therefore making Life Insurance a loss to have. You wont go any lower than 58 just because of how overpowered Intensive Care is!

I'll just go back through all your abilities anyway, as some people might not have read the 61 phys part, apologies to those who have read that part, just scroll down to see tips/tricks on how to keep people alive in pvp, and a video!


Buffs:

- Preventive Medication

- Simultaneous Treatment

- Alternative Treatment - Generally sucks in pvp due to already having a ton of your healing reduced, but you can use it if there is only small amounts of st and more aoe.


Abilities!

Causal Treatment – Awards 2 combo points. This will be your main stationary spam button. – 1.5 second cast which can be frustrating in pvp, as someone could die in that 1.5 seconds, which means you're gonna have to think on your feet to think if they are gonna need a cd, or if they will survive long enough for you to cast.

Expectant Treatment – Insta cast – Shield – 6 second cd. You can use this preemptively or reactively, its down to personal preference. You can use it as a spot shield on a player taking damage. - kinda sucky in pvp due to shields in pvp being bad.

Urgent Care – Spot heal and 6 second cd

Active Treatment – Small heal, insta cast and no cd. Similar to healing flare on purifier.

Emergency Response - In pvp this heal is awful, so use it as a spot heal.

Biofeedback - Isnt that great in pvp, wont heal through more than 2-3 people dps'ing one person - I only use it if someone is low, but not being damaged or if they are low, and another healer is also healing him, that way he gets the damage reduction and a heal.

Group Therapy - Aoe hot, try to keep this up but its not of dire importance

Maintenance Therapy - This will be your go-to heal in pvp, as flat heals are always better than shields in pvp.

Preemptive Therapy - Rarely used in pvp, only scenario i recommend using it is if you or someone else is holding an objective (e.g. ghar station) - and they are at full health and you have nothing else to do, so you can shield him to absorb some of the incoming damage from the objective.

Massive Therapy - Amazing burst heal, use this when someone is roughly around 50% hp or less. Works extremely well with Intensive Care.

Intensive Care - All healing and absorption abilities are increased by 50% for 10 seconds - I often use this right at the start of the wf as all the damage starts and people start taking major damage, as dps will start bursting cd's at this point, then use it whenever needed after that.

Precise Diagnosis - Awards 5 combo points.

Mass Detox - Use this!!! Cleanses are really important in pvp.

Planar Variation - I decided to use this mastery over Apothecarys Will (both are kinda eh anyway) because it cant be interrupted and does a decent sized heal.

Mass Blood Transfusion - The heal on this is crappy but its amazing at finding stealthed rogues, and defending points from people trying to cap.

Rotation!

Because its pvp, healing rotation is going to change dramatically at any time, from using cd's, to running and moving, to burst healing a player.

Stick to - Expectant Treatment - Causal Treatment - Causal Treatment - Finisher - Causal Treatment - Causal Treatment - Active Treatment - Finisher and use other abilities around that, e.g. cd's to keep topping people up, use the healing synergy crystal (Medic's Crystal) and if you want, healing essences that proc ap, these will be the best ones as your heals derive from your AP.
