Sinstalker

Through levels 1-65 ignore all mention of Legendary abilities, they do not affect you until levels 66 onwards.

I’ll do skill description/rotation changes every 10 level block, to make it easier.

Level 1-10

In this level gap you gain 13 abilities

~ Flashbang - 3 target aoe builder

~ Satchel Charge - 3 target aoe finisher

~ Fragmentation Sticky Bomb

~ Detonate (detonates sticky bomb)

~ Savage Strike

~ Virulent Poison (1hour buff)

~ Savage Strike - ST finisher

~ Assassinate (Stealth Builder - Can only be used from Stealth)

~ Stealth (Obvious what this does)

~ Planar Strike (not useful)

~ Shadow Shift - 15m port forward

~ Guarded Steel - Useful for the Armor increase

~ Planebound Resiliance - Endurance Buff.

For the first 4 levels you will be using Savage Strike, as soon as you get Fragmentation Sticky Bomb and Detonate you can start to use this macro;

#show Fragmentation Sticky Bomb

Suppressmacrofailures

cast Detonate

cast Fragmentation Sticky Bomb

This will be able to get you through a lot of the lower content with no problem its hits very hard.

Keep up the 2 buffs you have currently.

Level 11-20

In this level gap you spend more points into RS to gain extra endurance and a ST port, which will be useful for later, in this level gap you only gain 2 extra abilities.

~ Guardian Phase - Tanking buff, useful when you need to mitigate damage, not to be kept up 100% of the time, as it will severely gimp your dps

~ Incapacitate - Stuns a target for 45s or until damaged

Incapacitate will be useful for later levels when you aren’t just spamming Frag Bomb.

Level 21-30

In this level gap you gain more resists from Riftstalker, and a couple more buffs, in total you gain 5 new abilities;

~ Leeching Poison

~ Paralyzing Strike - Stealth Opener

~ Stalker Phase - To be kept up 100% of the time

~ Instigate - Taunt (not useful)

~ Rift Disturbance - Useful for the SP/AP reduction on the enemy.

When pulling large groups use Rift Disturbance to help with damage mitigation

Use your ports, Shadow Shift and Shadow Assault to gain the damage boost from Stalker Phase

Keep up your poisons, you can have 2 up at the same time.

Level 31-40

In this level gap you finish the point distribution in the Riftstalker tree, so from now on you fill out the Assassin tree.

You gain 7 abilities

~ Lethal Poison (Replaces Virulent, does slightly less damage but the Crit chance makes it better)

~ Expose Weakness - To be kept up on the target you are killing

~ Jagged Strike - Stealth Opener

~ Foul Play - Stun

~ Enduring Brew - Self Heal + Energy Regen

~ Planar Refuge - Reduces damage taken by 30%

~ Shadow Blitz - Another port (AoE)

Start all fights stealth begin with Jagged Strike, use Shadow Assault then keep using the Frag Bomb Macro and maintaining the damage buff from porting (every 15s)

Use your Stuns, Heal and Planar Refuge as necessary

Level 41-50

In this level block you gain 4 new abilities

~ Impale - Damage over Time (DoT) finisher - Keep this up.

~ Poison Malice - Damage Cooldown - Use at the start of fights.

~ Hidden Veil - Delays the breaking of stealth after you’ve taken damage

~ Thread of Death - Allows you to use a stealth ability when out of stealth.

Keep up impale on the target, use Poison Malice when fights start

Hidden Veil should be on you at all times. (re-apply when it gets consumed and is off cd)

With Thread of Death you have two options, either re-apply Jagged when it falls off or use Paralyzing Strike to have an extra stun.

Levels 51-60

In this block you complete the point distribution in the soul tree, you gain 3 new abilities.

~ Debilitating Dart - Use every 30s, should align with Poison Malice at every 60s interval.

~ Poison Gas - AoE Confuse (breaks if damaged)

~ Serpent Strike - Off GCD Builder.

Only use Serpent Strike when it procs, never before.

If you’re lazy you can add Serpent Strike to the macro.

So, to re-iterate the current rotation at this level, including all of the previous abilities should look something like this:

Stealth - Jagged/Paralyzing Strike -> Guarded Steel (armor proc) -> Shadow Assault -> Poison Malice+Debilitating Dart -> Spam Macro -> Serpent Strike when procs -> Impale when at 5 combo points -> Spam macro -> Final Blow at 5 combo points

Then using Shadow Blitz/Shadow Shift to keep up the buff from Stalker Phase, using stuns, cd’s and heals as necessary.

Level 61-65

This is the end of spending points into your soul tree! Congratulations! Now, masteries, although these are fairly easy so you don’t need to worry.

You will gain one mastery per level, 61 through to 65 (so 5 in total)

The Mastery choices you want to take are:

61 - Planar Replenishment or Soul Steal if you want more dps

62 - Ascended Biology

63 - Juke and Run

64 - Repetitive Strikes

65 - Planar Variation

Planar Variation can either be used as a Self heal, or an aoe attack - Not to be used for ST.

Level 66-70

Welcome to SFP! With 4.0 came an entirely new way to improve abilities, by making them Legendary! What is a Legendary ability?

“To put it simply, Legendary Powers makes your favorite abilities even better! Whether it’s adding new effects, new mechanics, or simply powering up an ability to a whole new level, the Legendary version of a power amplifies your power!”

You get to pick 5 Legendary abilities, 3 is the maximum you can spend in any soul tree. Each soul tree has 5 different legendary abilities that you can pick and choose from - Once you’ve locked the selection in you can’t change it unless you do a soul reset.

You gain one Legendary point per level (5 in total) here is how you should spend your points:

66 - Thread of Death

67 - Poison Malice

68 - Satchel Charge

69 - Shadow Shift

70 - Guarded Steel

With Thread of Death, it allows you to passively use stealth abilities without needing to be stealthed. This means Poison Malice should have a 100% uptime and you should use Assassinate off-cd.

Poison Malice can now be used several times, you want to re-apply the buff at the final second to maximise the dps you get from this. The more you re-apply this the less poison damage you do, any more than 10 stacks and it’s a dps loss. I recommend using it to 6 stacks on most encounters, letting it go on CD and repeating.

Satchel Charge can now be added to your macro spam, to help with Charge consumption, you can also take it out and maintain it  yourself if you want to utilise it better (it has a 30s cd and sometimes you won't want to waste it on a mob that's about to die)

Shadow Shift now deals damage and has a lower CD. Use when it’s fully ramped up for maximum damage. It takes 70s to fully ramp up. Damage is based from your AP.

Guarded Steel now gives you a stacking buff (3stacks) where you deal the maximum amount of damage of Guarded Steel whenever you use a Plane Shift ability.

#show Fragmentation Sticky Bomb

suppressmacrofailures

cast Serpent Strike

cast Detonate

cast Satchel Charge

cast Debilitating Dart

cast Fragmentation Sticky Bomb

cast Assassinate

cast Backstab

cast Savage Strike

Keep up Puncture ~ Impale ~ Jagged Strike (very important) and Satchel Charge (if you decide to take it out of the macro)

Spam that to 5 combo points and use finishers

Only ever use Guarded Steel at 1 combo point. There is no point to use more than 1 combo point with it.
